Rapid assessment in TIA clinic. Run daily (7 days a week). Where TIA is plausible diagnosis, patients can be referred to outpatient investigations at National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square (run every week).

If patient currently symptomatic:
- Call 999. Do not give aspirin.
If patient not currently symptomatic, but high-risk TIA:
- Call HASCU SpR – t: 07753 739286
If patient not currently symptomatic, but low-risk TIA:
- Complete referral form (see Downloads);
- Patient to take form with them and arrive at 08:30.
