Community facility providing practical and emotional mental health support for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The service is for urgent care and provides a maximum stay of two weeks. Features include:

  • Comprehensive mental health assessment
  • Medication review
  • Informal counselling
  • Occupational activity
  • Therapeutic groups
  • Crisis planning
  • Links with acute day services for one-to-one and group therapy

Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

  • Aged 18+
  • Adults experiencing a mental health crisis

How to refer

Self-referral

GPs or patients can telephone the service.

Self-referrals taken 09:00–16:00

In an emergency, attend A&E/call an ambulance.
