A range of clinical services for service-users with a diagnosis of Personality Disorder to improve daily functioning, including input for social care needs. Clinical management by the Personality Disorders Community Team.
The following evidence-based interventions provided by the Therapies Team:

  • Mentalisation Based Treatment (MBT) - improving capacity to understand one's mind and minds of others.
  • Schema Therapy - changing unhelpful blueprints developed during early life.
  • Adapted Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) - improving experience of relations to self and others.

Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

  • Age 18–65
  • Meet diagnostic criteria for Personality Disorder
  • Have difficulties in daily functioning, emotional instability and difficulties in interpersonal relationships
