The Henna Asian Women's Group provides a befriending service for Asian women and men over the age of 65 and living in north west London. The aim is to:

  • reduce isolation for housebound older, minority, ethnic people
  • increase access to mainstream and other services by older, minority, ethnic people who are isolated/housebound
  • act as a bridge between isolated individuals and services offered by Henna and statutory and voluntary-sector agencies

Befriending service is provided in many South Asian languages, including Hindi, Urdu, Farsi, Bengali, Gujarati and English.
