Early-help service that works with children (aged 4–16) and families. Deliver 3 evidence-based parenting programmes and also offer intensive 1:1 support to families with multiple/complex levels of need that require support from multiple professionals.

We currently deliver:

  • Webster Stratton Incredible Years (4–11yrs, parents only)
  • Strengthening Families programme (10–14yr olds and their parents)
  • Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (4–17-year-olds)

Each programme teaches strategies for improving relationships, developing boundaries and consequences in the home and managing challenging behaviour (including conduct disorders).

The programmes will run in April and October 2018. Referrals for the October programme from September 2018. 

Eligibility criteria


  • Family where there is a child/young person aged 4–16 years old
  • Family must meet Camden threshold of need for early help, which includes children who are vulnerable to poor outcomes and need additional support to overcome difficulties and prevent escalation of need
  • Needs must be parenting-led, which includes behavioural issues and school-based issues
