Emergency Dentist

Anyone in Camden with an urgent dental problem such as pain, swelling, bleeding or infection can be treated at Kentish Town Urgent Dental Service.

This is a walk-in service, no appointment is necessary, and the clinic will try and help everyone on the day.

Community Dental Service

The Community Dental Service is for adults and children with complex needs who find it difficult to use general dental services – e.g. people with learning disabilities and/or communication difficulties, housebound patients, homeless patients, severely phobic patients.

Eligibility Criteria

Community Dental Service

  • Children (15 years or below)
    • Anxious or uncooperative with accepting dental care
    • Physical disabilities, learning disabilities or medical conditions requiring special dental care
    • Specialist care e.g. sedation, management of trauma, hypoplastic teeth
    • "Looked after" or considered "at risk"
  • Adults (16 years and above)
    • Moderate and severe learning disabilities and physical disabilities
    • Adults with severe mental health problems, severe anxiety or phobia where treatment has proved to be unsuccessful
    • Medical conditions that require special provision
    • Older people with physical or mental disabilities
    • Housebound people
    • Homeless people, substance misuse 

How to Refer

No referral required. Walk-in available.

Community Dental Service

Complete the Adult Dentistry Form or Paediatric Dentisry Form.
