As you may be aware, Camden CCG has been allocated funding for 8 trainee general practice nurses.
This is a one-year programme starting in Jan 2018, which will be delivered as 2.5 days of protected time for learning with modules taught at London South Bank University. For the remaining 2.5 days (or equivalent), the nurse will work in the general practice that employs them with support from a current practice nurse.
Health Education England's North Central and East London local office will pay the course fees direct to the University and the practice can claim up to £35,000 towards the nurse's salary and costs (the salary has been advertised as £29,000).
