Membership Summit and Drinks Reception

Camden CCG is in the early stages of developing a primary care vision and longer term commissioning intentions.

You’ll be aware that we recently co-hosted an event with the Camden GP Federation and our local LMC to gather members’ initial views. A meeting report is now available on the News section of our GP website. The outcomes from the event were discussed at the March Locality Committees.

The April Summit will be a further forum for members to view and comment on these, before submission to NHS England end of June 2016.

Care UK cover is available should practices wish to close. GP and Practice Manager backfill is available at the following rate:

  • GPs at £100.00 (one hundred pounds) per hour;
  • Practice managers at £50.00 (fifty pounds) per hour.

Backfill is limited to 2 people per practice.  However, more people per practice can attend if they like but, they will not receive backfill.

All requests for Care UK cover and/or backfill should be sent to camdengp.events@nhs.net.

Funding for an additional 20 places has been made available for locum and salaried GPs to contribute to this event which will focus on the future development of primary care in Camden. Please circulate this to locum and salaried GPs in your practice and confirm to memberrelations@camdenccg.nhs.uk if you would like to book a place.

Places are limited, so you are encouraged to confirm as soon as possible.

A formal invitation has been sent out. Agenda will follow - topics include update on NCL Sustainability and Transformation Plan, Camden Local Care Strategy, improving Cardiovascular care and outcomes and Population Health Management.
