Domestic abuse: Identification and Referral to Improve Safety training (IRIS)

This is an additional session for health professionals who may have missed this mandatory training at their own surgeries. 

Please give your name upon arrival and advise that you are attending a training session with Caitriona Scanlan.

The session will take place on 29 March from 09:30–13:00 in 1.3 Granary at  5 Pancras Square (map below).

CPD points are available for this session – certificates will be emailed after the event.

Domestic abuse: Identification and Referral to Improve Safety training (IRIS) — Morning

Friday, 29th March 2019 / 9.15am

The session will cover domestic abuse and how it presents in a health setting, how to confidently manage cases in primary care and the current referral pathways. It will also update you on legislative changes in the Care Act 2014 relating to domestic abuse and adult safeguarding.
