CamEd January 2018 event at the RCGP

Children & young people AM and PM sessions

Following on from the success of previous events we will be having another day of education dedicated to children's health in primary care. With the growing importance of improving asthma control across London and with the introduction of children's asthma review as part fo the universal offer the morning session will be dedicated to all things asthma - diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, care planning, referral pathways etc. Case based examples throughout and plenty of opportunity to ask questions regarding your own cases. This session is for GPs and any other members of the clinical team interested in asthma.

The afternoon will be a mix of relevant important primary care topics - physical and mental health. Feedback for these education days has always been very positive so book your places soon.

Urinary Tract Infection session

This is a short 2 hour morning session. More details can be found below.

Spirometry and Assessment – COPD Diagnosis

There is another chance to attend the spirometry screening training with Heidi Ridsdale, Dr John Hurst and the rest of the team as this service will be ceased at the end of March 18 by CNWL, it is essential that all GP practices have received this training.

**Please note that if you attended the training on 16 November 2017 you do not need to attend this session.
